Decade Clear is easy to use.
Anyone that can operate a
paint roller can do it themselves in just one day. No
special training, equipment or primer is needed. Our
Application Instructions are easy to read and our
knowledgeable customer care staff is just a phone call
away. Properly applied and maintained Decade Clear will
protect your deck for ten years guaranteed. Decade Clear
is acceptable for use on wooden decks, ramps, stairs,
porches, docks, patios or most any architectural
structure.
Specifications:
One gallon covers 250 -
300 square feet.
Dry to the touch in 1-2 hours, recoatable in 2-4 hours,
ready for light foot traffic in 24-48. Finish is gloss.
Recommendations:
Apply three or more coats to achieve a minimum DFT of 15
mils.
Best when applied with a ½” – ¾” nap roller. May be
applied over Decade paint to produce a gloss finish.
Cleaner:
For pre-paint preparation
(bare wood & painted surfaces) and yearly cleaning we
recommend
Decade Pre-paint & Yearly Cleaner.
Primer:
Not required.
Thinner:
Thin with water only if
necessary.
Slip Resistance:
Add
TS-630 Pro-Tex
non slip additive to improve slip resistance.
Clean up:
Clean with water.
