Seal-It!
(Deep Penetrating Sealer) is a permanent
sealer solution for concrete and masonry. In addition to
sealing surfaces permanently it cleans and etches
concrete and masonry in preparation for the application
of liquid floor coatings. This one product treats
concrete and masonry three ways; it cleans and etches,
permanently seals out water and it densifies and hardens
all at once. Moreover, it increases the bonding power of
any top coating system (including paint, mastics, etc.)
by up to 300% making it a compelling choice. Choose
it in lieu of TS-695 Etching Cleaner where moisture,
mold, mildew, water intrusion and hydrostatic pressure
are present.
Seal-It!
is a chemically reactive penetrating sealant that works
internally
within the concrete matrix; not as a surface sealant. It
is a permanent water barrier that also cleans, etches
and hardens the surface increasing compressive and
flexural strength in the process. It contains a catalyst
that seeks out and reacts with moisture. Upon contact
with water the catalyst fuses free alkali (lime),
calcium hydroxides and other particles present within
the matrix fusing them together creating an impenetrable
silica. The entire surface penetrated is impregnated and
converted turning the entire structure into a solid mass
preventing the movement of moisture permanently.
In addition to sealing and hardening the
surface of concrete Seal-It! hardens surfaces while
increasing compressive and flexural strength. Acceptable
for use on Portland cement, concrete, stucco, porous
tile, Shotcrete and mortar. It does not alter or affect
the color or texture of the surface treated. It retards
penetration of grease, oils, wax and acids. Cures new
concrete uniformly, resists hair checking, retards
pitting, dusting, rutting and displaces grease and oil.
Densifies and hardens surfaces extending the life of
treated surfaces by reducing or eliminating wear due to
abrasion, freeze-thaw and salt attack.
May require two or three applications on
problem surfaces. Point of refusal is reached at three
applications. Apply by Sure-Flow or pump-jug sprayer. It
is zero VOC, nontoxic and not HAZMAT. Withstand up to 60
PSI hydro-static pressure. Available in one gallon and
five gallon containers.
