Decade Etching Cleaner (TS-695) cleans and removes dirt, grime, lime, rust and contaminates from wood, concrete, metal, fiberglass, aluminum and masonry. It is effective, safe to use and fast acting. Corrects the pH promoting adhesion. Use it and watch oil, grease, dirt, exhaust and chemical stains disappear quickly and completely. Also attacks rust, corrosion and oxidation from screw threads, grooves and crevices as well as smooth surfaces. Removes unwanted contaminants and neutralizes lime and by-products on the surface which may impair the adhesion of deck coating products.

Etching Cleaner is an excellent pre-treatment solution to be used in preparation for wood deck paint. It is easy and safe to use. When properly flushed with water the residue is actually fertilizer in the flower beds! Use it on concrete floors prior to application of paint. Recommended for use on composite and plastic deck materials. Tested and approved by aluminum manufacturers for use on all aluminum products. Removes easily and safely pool chemical residue, exhaust stains, oxides and corrosion from aluminum, zinc and cadmium plate as well as iron and steel.

Stats: A phosphoric acid based cleaner etcher. Cleans 200 square feet per gallon.  

Recommended preparation: Refer to Application Instructions Sheet, label directions and standard industry application practices. For best results remove loose scale and existing deck paints. For best results sand prior to the application. All substrates must have maximum 19% or less moisture content.

Intended Use: Removes dirt, grime, stubborn stains, oxides and corrosion from a wide variety of surfaces. Use prior to the application of primer or deck paint. Use only where cleaning and etching is desired. It will lighten concrete and other surfaces.
